Urinary Dynamics and Ultrasound (UDUS) Research Laboratory
Established in 2019, the UDUS Research Group unites experts across disciplines from Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering to Radiology, Urology and OB/GYN. Our mission is to address some of the fundamental gaps in our knowledge and understanding of the urinary tract physiology and its disorders and their management strategies. Using novel ultrasound-based experimental methods, cutting-edge computer science techniques, and mathematical modeling, we strive to make significant contributions to the field of urology and OB/GYN, enhancing patient care and outcomes. Our multi-disciplinary approach is rooted in our belief in unity of knowledge and that real-world challenges transcend the traditional boundaries of academic disciplines. By integrating diverse perspectives and expertise, we are better equipped to develop innovative solutions that are both comprehensive and effective.
